Benji Hicks competes in Carolina Clash two-step at Lavonia and Cherokee
Kicking off his weekend on Friday afternoon, Benji Hicks followed the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series to Lavonia (Ga.) Speedway for a $5,000-to-win event.
Starting 15th in the 40-lap main event, Hicks made up one spot to finish 14th.
Making the trip to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Saturday, Benji started the $5,000-to-win feature from 12th and was an early retiree on lap 17.
