Eighth-place finish with Carolina Clash at Lavonia Speedway
With a $5,000-to-win event at his home track, Payton Freeman joined the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series on Friday afternoon at Lavonia (Ga.) Speedway.
Missing the eight ball in qualifying, Freeman was victorious in his B-Main which landed him on the sixth starting row for the main event. In the 40-lap feature, Payton made up four spots to land inside the Top-10 in eighth.
