Carlos Ahumada Jr. charges to second at Vado Speedway Park

With the second attempt at the USMTS Featherlite Fall Jamboree axed by wet weather, Hacienda Motorsports and Carlos Ahumada Jr. made the short trip to Vado Speedway Park (Vado, N.M.) on Saturday afternoon with Carlos piloting his Hughes Racing Chassis No. 65x Modified.

Lined up on the sixth row for the A-Main via a fourth-place showing in his heat race, Carlos advanced through the field nine spots in the 35-lap affair to register a second-place finish. He trailed Jake Gallardo across the line with C.J. Hulsey, Nick Rivera, and Jay Rosales rounding out the Top-5.
