Cornell podiums in 2024 season opener at Midway Raceway
Willard, Missouri's Kaeden Cornell kicked off his 2024 season over the weekend with a pair of Dirt Track Bank Cash Money Series events in the The Show-Me State.
Joining 18 Late Models on Friday at Midway Raceway (Lebanon, Mo.), Cornell raced into the opener with a third-place showing in his heat race. With a $1,000 prize up for grabs, Kaeden charged forward five spots in the 30-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He chased Kris Jackson and Dustin Atkinson across the line in the 30-lapper.
Back behind the wheel of the Hoover Motorsports No. 50 Late Model entry on Saturday at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Mo.), Kaeden backed up a fourth-place finish in his heat with a 14th-to-9th run in the A-Main.
