Hedgecock visits Bulls Gap for XRSS Spring Thaw
After Friday’s program was postponed, Saturday saw Cory Hedgecock return to action with the XR Super Series-sanctioned Spring Thaw at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.).
In a field of 34 cars, Hedgecock missed a transfer spot by one car in his heat with a fifth-place finish, relegating him into a B-Main. Needing to place third or better to make the $30,000-to-win A-Main, Cory was an early retiree while leading with two circuits remaining.
