Dooley 15th in Southern Heritage Classic at Needmore Speedway

Returning to the driver's seat after a month off, Matt Dooley unloaded his Atlanta Coring No. 18 machine at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) on Friday afternoon for the Crate Racin' USA-sanctioned Southern Heritage Classic.

With 41 Late Models packed in the pits, Dooley gained two positions in his B-Main but was still relegated to a B-Main on Saturday. Taking a provisional starting spot for Saturday's $10,000-to-win main event, Matt crawled through the field and gained 13 positions on his way to a 15th-place outing.
