Pair of Top-10 finishes in Toilet Bowl Classic at Clarksville Speedway
Heading back to Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the rescheduled Tuckassee Toilet Bowl Classic, Oakley Johns was one of 28 Late Models checked in.
Johns topped the field in qualifying before crashing in his heat race and racing his way into the feature through a B-Main. Charging from the 23rd starting position, Oakley wound up inside the Top-10 in eighth.
Switching cars for Saturday's $10,000-to-win finale, Oakley started 14th in the 40-lap feature and gained five positions to land inside the Top-10 in ninth.
