Seawright scores podium outing in visit to I-75 Raceway with Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals
Competing in a lone event over Easter weekend, Sam Seawright unloaded his Agcor Steel No. 16 machine at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals.
Seawright raced his way into the $10,053-to-win main event by finishing third in his heat race which lined him up on the fifth-row. Slicing his way through the field, Sam found himself battling for a podium position in the final laps. Brandon Overton took home the victory while Dale McDowell finished second and Seawright rounded out the podium in third.
