Annual Easter Egg Hunt Colouring Contest
THOROLD, ONTARIO (February 10, 2024)....Merrittville Speedway will be the host location of The Annual Easter Egg Hunt. For 25 years Steve Dubé, VP of the Welland Volunteer Firefighter Club has coordinated the Welland Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Merritt Island.
This year’s Easter Egg Hunt event will take place Saturday March 30th 10am 2pm at Merrittville Speedway. This is a FREE ADMISSION event for kids and families in the Niagara Region and beyond.
One of the attractions the Annual Easter Egg Hunt is The Original Clare's Cycle and Sports Colouring Contest. The Original Clare's Cycle & Sports Ltd. located in Fenwick, ON was established in 1955 and has become Ontario’s full-line Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM, and CFMOTO dealer carrying Motorcycles, ATVs, Side by sides and Power Equipment along with genuine parts and accessories, apparel and riding gear.
The Colouring Contest will be made up of 5 age segments. Ages 1-3, 4-7, 8-11, 12-15, and 16+. Cash award prizes will be handed out to the top 3. 1st place will win $50.00, 2nd to win $30.00, and 3rd will win $20.00. Submissions can be dropped off at Merrittville Speedway Big Scoop in the contest box. Or you can email a copy to easteregghunt.merrittville@gmail.com. The deadline is March 30, 2024 and there must be one submission per person.
