Robinson follows LOLMDS to Ocala and All-Tech
Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to the Sunshine State on Tuesday, Ross Robinson was one of 40 entries signed in at the newly rebranded Ocala Speedway (Ocala, Fla.) for the two-day event.
After creeping into the opener with a sixth-to-third showing in his heat, Robinson was an early retiree from the 40-lapper on lap 28.
On Wednesday, Ross elected to use a provisional into the A-Main after missing a transfer spot in his heat and B-Main. Improving 12 spots in the 40-lap affair, Robinson rolled to a 15th-place finish.
For a pair of LOLMDS events on Friday and Saturday at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.), Robinson squeezed into Friday’s feature with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat. With $12,000 on the line, Ross dropped four positions to finish 17th.
An early exit on the third lap of his B-Main on Saturday night brought an early end to Ross’ Winter Nationals weekend.
