Haiden Cowan joins Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Golden Isles
Continuing his Speedweeks journey, Haiden Cowan traveled to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Thursday afternoon with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the Super Bowl of Racing.
Joined by 50 other Late Models at the track, Cowan found himself in a stacked group which relegated him a B-Main. Needing a Top-2 finish to crack the A-Main field, Haiden recorded an eighth-place finish in his B-Main.
With Friday's event lost to heavy rain showers, Haiden returned to the track on Saturday where he once again found himself in a B-Main. Starting towards the rear, Cowan stormed through the field and made up six spots but still fell short of making the feature event.
