Jack and Jason Riggs take on Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway
Joining their teammate Brandon Sheppard for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series opening weekend, Jack and Jason Riggs invaded Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) on Thursday afternoon for the Super Bowl of Racing.
Drawing 51 Late Models to the facility, both Jack and Jason found themselves in stacked heat races which relegated them to B-Mains. Needing a Top-2 finish to make the A-Main field, Jack finished 12th while Jason recorded a DNF.
After losing Friday's event to wet weather, both Riggs returned for the $25,000-to-win finale on Saturday. Being buried in the first B-Main once again, neither Jack or Jason were able to crack the 28-car starting field.
