Top-15 finish for Holland in World Short Track Championship

Chase Holland and his team raced on the East Coast during the last weekend in October, taking part in a talented 44-car DIRTcar UMP Modified field at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, North Carolina).

When the three-day World Short Track Championship opened on Thursday, Holland drove his Industrial Dock & Door No. 45 Modified to the 12th quickest time in his qualifying group on the 4/10-mile oval.

He then advanced two positions in his heat race the following night to grab the fourth and final transfer spot into Saturday’s A-Main.

Holland started the 30-lap, $4,000-to-win main event from 15th on the grid and came home with a 14th-place result.
