Keystone Cup cut short for Troutman at Bedford Speedway
After inclement weather forced officials to shift Friday’s Super Late Model portion to Saturday, Drake Troutman was one of 37 cars entered at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) for the sixth annual Keystone Cup.
With a heat race victory positioning him on the fourth row for the $23,000-to-win A-Main, Troutman suffered a flat right-rear tire on the lap 21 while running ninth that dropped him to the tail. He later retired on lap 48, relegating him to 22nd in the finishing order.
