Oberkramer continues season with CCSDS at Magnolia
Mason Oberkramer joined the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) over the weekend for two days of competition in the prestigious Cotton Pickin’ at the “Black Ice” of Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi).
With 46 CCSDS Super Late Models at the 3/8-mile oval on Friday, Oberkramer drove to a fifth-place finish in one of four heat races. He then used a runner-up result in his B-Main to transfer to the night’s 40-lap, $4,000-to-win main event. After rolling off 19th, Oberkramer finished 24th.
On Saturday, 47 CCSDS teams were on hand with $12,000 on the line in the event finale. Oberkramer finished seventh in his heat and fourth in his “B,” bringing his weekend to a close before the 60-lap feature.
