Crowl takes top-5 finish at Hagerstown, 3rd at Winchester
The 2023 slate of points races at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Maryland) wrapped up on Friday evening, with Levi Crowl turning in a top-five result. He then scored a podium finish at Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Virginia) on Saturday.
On Friday, 19 Late Model Sportsman competitors were on hand at the half-mile Hagerstown track, where Crowl drove his Wrenches & Wreckers No. 5 car from seventh to third in his heat race.
He rolled off sixth in the 20-lap main event and clawed forward one position to turn in a top-five finish. He chased Devin Hart, Greg Moore, Cody Lear and Brad Omps to the checkered flag.
Crowl finished as runner-up in the yearlong point standings behind champion Hart.
The next night, Crowl and team moved to Winchester Speedway to compete in the Limited Late Model class. Crowl opened the evening by finishing as runner-up in his heat race on the 3/8-mile oval. He went on to claim a third-place result in the 20-lap, 14-car feature. Crowl trailed Jonathan Dehaven and Gunnar Walls across the line, with Austin Stover fourth and Brad Omps fifth.
