Podium finish in Modified at Bedford Speedway
Hopping behind the wheel of his Wheeler Fleet Solutions No. 7 Modified, Drake Troutman was back in action at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) on Friday where he ended the night with a podium performance.
Starting the feature in sixth via a fifth-to-second run in his heat, Troutman moved forward three spots to finish third, which came behind Mike Altobelli Jr. and Glenn Elliott.
In the Super Late Model ranks on Saturday at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.), Troutman snuck into the $5,000-to-win A-Main in his B-Main after crossing the line in sixth in his heat. Pinned on the 12th row for the feature, Drake gained eight spots in the 25-lap affair to place 15th.
