Ross Bailes makes Crate Late Model start with American All-Star Series at Cherokee
Returning to Crate Late Model competition on Friday afternoon, Ross Bailes piloted the Norm Nichols No. 5 machine for the Summer South Sizzler at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) with the American All-Star Series.
Among a stacked 43-car field, Ross finished outside of a transfer spot in his heat race which relegated him to a B-Main on Saturday.
With the erratic weather pushing the finale to Sunday afternoon, Bailes finished one spot out of transfer in his B-Main which ended his weekend early.
