Another Top-10 outing in weekly CRUSA competition at Senoia Raceway
Staying close to home for another weekend of weekly competition, Matt Dooley entered the Barry Copeland-owned No. 18 Rocket XR1 into the CRUSA Late Model division at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon.
Among 18 Late Models at the track, Matt topped the charts in qualifying which placed him on the pole for the main event. In the 20-lap feature, Dooley suffered a flat tire on the first lap which forced him to restart at the tail. Charging from the rear of the field, Matt recovered to land inside the Top-10 in eighth.
