Seawright salvages Top-10 with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Duck River
On Saturday afternoon, Sam Seawright returned to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) for another chance at a big victory with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series in the $20,000 Deep Fried 75.
In a stout field of 39 Late Models, Seawright missed the line on his qualifying lap but nabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race to start 15th in the A-Main. Rolling through the field in the 75-lap feature, Sam made his way up to ninth when the checkered flag flew.
Sam will return to competition next weekend with the Valvoline Iron-Man Series at North Alabama Speedway and Talladega Short Track.
