Holland takes on DIRTcar UMP Modified foes at Fairbury

Chase Holland traveled to the Land of Lincoln over the weekend to compete in the DIRTcar Summit Modified Nationals portion of the Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois). Holland’s Industrial Dock & Door No. 45 ride was among 63 DIRTcar UMP Modifieds in the pits at the quarter-mile track.

Action commenced on Friday, when Holland started 13th and finished 11th in one of four 20-lap, $500-to-win Showdown Features.

With only the top four from each preliminary contest moving to the 40-lap, $5,000-to-win finale, Holland looked to make the big show via one of two Last Chance Showdowns on Saturday. He made a valiant effort to finish third after starting 14th in his 15-lap race, but came up just one position shy of a transfer spot.
