Jason Feger
Top-five finish in Prairie Dirt Classic preliminary at FALS
Tuesday night found Jason Feger in action at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the MARS Championship Series-sanctioned Hoker Trucking 50.
After sneaking into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat, Jason experienced electrical issues that forced him pitside on lap 21.
For the 33rd running of the Prairie Dirt Classic on Friday, Feger returned to action at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the two-day World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series sanctioned weekend. Following the ninth-fastest lap in his 32-car group, Jason rolled to a fifth-place finish in his 25-lap preliminary. He chased Bobby Pierce, Dennis Erb Jr., Mike Harrison, and Josh Rice across the line.
On Saturday, Jason failed to transfer out of his B-Main by one car but went on to pick up the win in the non-qualifier feature, allowing him to take the $3,500 payday or tag the tail of the field for the $50,000-to-win Prairie Dirt Classic.
Electing to take the green in 27th, Feger improved nine positions in the 100-lap affair to finish 18th.
