Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (July 18, 2023) Back on track this weekend, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, will invade Creek County Speedway on Friday, July 21, before joining with the American Sprint Car Series presented by RacinDirt.com at 81-Speedway on Saturday, July 22.

Rounds eight and nine on the 2023 season, Friday marks the second attempt at racing at Creek County Speedway this season, as the first in April was called off due to the track still undergoing upgrades. The last time the Sooner Region graced Creek County clay was August 26, 2022, with Seth Bergman finding Victory Lane.

Friday, July 21, at Creek County Speedway, opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for youth (11-14), and free for kids 10 and under. Pits are $35. Modifieds, Factory Stocks, and Dwarf Cars are also on the card.

Creek County Speedway is located at 18450 West Hwy. 66 between Sapulpa and Kellyville. Topped by Blake Hahn in the tour’s last appearance at 81-Speedway in 2022, paring with the National Tour on Saturday is the season’s last chance to see the American Sprint Car Series at the famed Park City, Kan. oval. National Tour competition earlier this year went the way of Jason Martin.

Saturday, July 22, opens at 3:00 P.M. for the pits and 5:00 P.M. for the stands. Hot Laps are at 6:00 P.M., with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and military, and free for kids 10 and under. Other divisions include the JLR Property Management 316 A-Mods, and AutoTech Service Super Stocks.
