TP Motorsports grabs a pair of runner-up finishes over 4th of July weekend
To kick off his Independence Day weekend, Terry Poore returned to the driver’s seat of his Cherokee Towing No. 2 Late Model at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the track’s Red White & True American Race.
Scoring his third consecutive podium finish in a row, Poore followed up the fourth-fastest qualifying lap in time trials with a fourth-to-second run in the feature. He followed Dustin Ward across the line with Joe Bray coming in third.
On Saturday afternoon at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.), Terry laid down the fourth-fastest time in his group before placing first in his heat. Carrying a steady pace in the 20-lap feature, Poore notched a runner-up finish behind Seth Jolley with Adam Mitchell, Nick Miley, and Clayton Cooper completing the top-five finishers.
