Tyler Erb storms to sixth-place finish in Freedom 60 at Muiskingum
Best Performance Motorsports and Tyler Erb were one of 32 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) teams entered at Muskingum County Speedway (Zanesville, OH) on Friday afternoon for the 17th running of the Freedom 60 weekend.
With the field split into three groups for prelims, Erb got off to a slow start in time trials before losing two spots in his 20-lap preliminary to finish ninth.
Pinned near the tail of his B-Main on Saturday, Tyler raced his way into the $30,000-to-win Freedom 60 with a ninth-to-second run. Nearly cracking the top-five in the feature, Erb advanced forward 14 more spots in the 60-lap affair to register an impressive sixth-place finish.
Tyler sits in ninth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
