Martin dominates Summer Nationals field for first Hell Tour victory
Staying in his home state of Missouri, Logan Martin made the short trip to Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Mo.) to compete with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour on Tuesday afternoon.
With 27 Late Models in the pit area, Martin topped the charts in his qualifying group before rolling to a heat race victory. Starting on the outside pole in the $5,000-to-win feature via the redraw, Logan got the jump on the start and led all 40 laps en route to his first-career Summer Nationals triumph. He crossed the line ahead of Billy Moyer Jr., Ashton Winger, Morgan Bagley, and Kaeden Cornell who completed the Top-5.
