Cosner Racing competes in Historic 100 weekend at WVMS
Both Matt Cosner and Eddie Carrier Jr. returned to action on Friday afternoon with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) at West Virginia Motor Speedway (Mineral Wells, W.Va.) for the doubleheader weekend.
With 26 Late Models entered for the Historic 100 opener, Carrier came in third in his heat while Cosner edged his way into the preliminary feature with a seventh-place finish in his heat. With $10,000 on the line, Matt retired on the fifth circuit while Eddie recorded a 13th-place finish.
On Saturday, Eddie locked his spot into the $50,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-to-second run in his heat while Cosner crossed the line in sixth. Before the 30-lap finale was able to hit the track, wet weather postponed main event to a later date to be determined.
