Logan Martin collects Top-10 in Battle at the Border finale with World of Outlaws
Logan Martin made a Tuesday night start with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series at Stateline Speedway (Stateline, N.Y.) for the $10,000-to-win New York Stateline Showdown.
With 42 Late Models on hand, Martin finished fifth in his heat race before nabbing the final transfer spot in his B-Main. For the 40-lap main event, Logan gained three positions to finish 18th.
Making his way to Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio) on Thursday evening for the Battle at the Border, Martin finished fifth in his heat race before earning a transfer position in his B-Main. For the $6,000-to-win main event, Logan recorded a 19th-place outing.
For another $6,000-to-win show on Friday, Logan qualified fourth quickest in his group and nabbed the final A-Main transfer spot in his heat race. For the 25-lap main event, Martin was scored 20th at the checkers.
In Saturday's $25,000-to-win Battle at the Border, Martin made up two spots in his heat to earn a sixth-row starting position in the feature. In the 60-lap weekend finale, Logan ran inside the Top-10 for much of the feature before slipping back to 10th when the checkered flag flew.
