Justin Duty scores top-10 finish during MLRA Battle at the Beach weekend
Justin Duty and his Double Duty Motorsports program took on more than 30 other Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing (MLRA) teams on Friday and Saturday in the MLRA Battle at the Beach at Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Missouri).
With a fourth-place finish in his heat race on Friday, Duty put his Don Frank Floors No. 15 in the 16th starting spot for the evening’s 30-lap, $5,000-to-win A-Main on the 1/3-mile oval. The driver from Molalla, Oregon, moved forward 10 positions in the race to claim a solid sixth-place result.
On Saturday, Duty registered a third-place finish in his heat race to start 10th on the grid for the weekend’s 40-lap, $7,000-to-win finale. He ultimately came home 13th.
