MERRITTVILLE SPEEDWAY LOOKS TO GET SEASON UNDER WAY WITH LOOP PAINT NIGHT

THOROLD, ONTARIO (May 1, 2023) … After Mother Nature washed out the first couple weeks of Merrittville Speedway’s 72nd season, drivers and event staff are ready to get going with Loop Paint night on Saturday May 6th . This will become the season opening event for Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series, as many drivers and teams will look to make this their first race of the 2023 racing season.

In addition to Corr/Pak Merchandising 358 Modifieds, Right Choice Auto & Leisure DIRTcar Sportsman and Rona Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites, this will also be the first Insta Panels Duel on the Dirt event for the Hoosier Stocks and Vansickle Pet Valu/PV on the Lane 4 Cylinders. Pit gates will open at 5pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm. Hot laps will get underway at 6:30pm
and the first green flag of the season will fly at 7:00pm.

Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, Seniors 60 + is $18, Youth 13-18 is $16, Kids 8-12 is $8 and under 7 will be admitted FREE. Pit admission is $40 and kids 5 and under are allowed in the pits for $20.
