Bergman Bags ASCS Sooner Victory At Thunderbird Speedway!

Bryan Hulbert - MUSKOGEE, Okla. (April 21, 2023) Determined to get three nights of racing in this weekend, Seth Bergman made the run from Byram, Miss. to Muskogee, Okla. a victorious one Friday night with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products.
Pocketing the night’s $2,066 prize at Thunderbird Speedway, the win is Seth's 17th with the regional tour.
Climbing a dozen positions for runner-up honors was Jace Park, who was followed by Blake Hahn, who made up nine spots. Up five to fourth was Wayne Johnson with John Carney II making up the top five. Chance Morton, Zach Blurton, Tuesday Calderwood, Danny Jennings, and Sean McClelland completed the top ten.
The American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products races next at Elk City Motorsports Park on Saturday, April 22. The Saturday showdown is $3,000 to win, $300 to start.
Gates opens at 5:00 P.M. with Racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Other classes include USRA Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks, and USRA Tuners. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for youth (8-15), seniors, military, and first responders. Kids eight and under are free.

The 2023 season will mark the 32nd year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
