Fifth-place finish with Spring Nationals at 411 Motor Speedway

Saturday saw Brandon Overton return to the driver’s seat of the Wells Motorsports No. 76 Late Model at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the third round of the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals.

Drawing 41 Late Models for the inaugural The Tennessean, Brandon’s second-place finish in his heat race positioned him on the fourth row for the $15,000-to-win A-Main. Moving forward three spots in a race that was slowed by multiple cautions, Brandon recorded a fifth-place finish in the 71-lapper. He followed Cory Hedgecock, Ricky Weiss, Jensen Ford, and Dale McDowell across the line.
