Based in Bloomfield, CT, LiquidPiston develops compact, powerful, quiet, efficient, low-vibration, multi-fuel capable combustion engines that are scalable from 1HP to over 1000 HP.

With just 2 primary moving parts the LiquidPiston’s X-Engine™ is up to 10X smaller and lighter than traditional internal combustion engines for the same power level.

*Starts with rethinking principles, starting with revisiting the thermodynamic cycle

Plus, they provide optimized hybrid power solutions for generators and vehicles, making hybrid systems smaller, lighter, cheaper, and more accessible.

*In the future, they envision their hybrid power systems using low-to-zero carbon fuels such as hydrogen
*LiquidPiston's multi-fuel capable engine has also demonstrated capability to run on hydrogen, a fuel that can be generated and burned essentially free of carbon-emissions.
