Freeman stops at All-Tech Raceway for LOLMDS event
With persistent rain and an unfavorable forecast cancelling Friday’s opener, Team 22 Inc. and Payton Freeman returned to All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) on Saturday evening for the $15,000-to-win Winter Nationals event.
In a field of 44 Late Models, Freeman snuck into the show with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in heat after starting in eighth. Getting shuffled back late in the race after challenging for the top-10, Payton settled with a 16th-place finish in the 50-lapper.
