Tanner Holmes Wins Points Race #2 for RBO Career Win #45
Points Race #2 for the Red Bluff Outlaws took place on Saturday, October 29th as the first part of a double header weekend of racing.
In total 42 drivers signed in to compete in Points Race #2 for the Open Class.
The day began with Chase Hill of Redding, CA setting Fast Time for just the 3rd time in his Career. Hill turned a lap time of 8.585 seconds to earn the Fast Time Honors in Truck Shop Motors Qualifying behind the wheel of his Blake Carrick Racing, Daryl Speed Shop #69 entry.
"It's Jerky" Heat Race #1 saw Willits, CA driver Kaiden Butler earn his 4th career Heat Race Win in his TrueFlex Chassis #22k machine.
"ShopKyleLarson.com" Heat Race #2 saw Jacksonville, OR driver Tanner Holmes pilot his Factory QRC, Durst Inc., Adam's Investing #18t entry to victory. The Heat Race win was the 29th of his career at Red Bluff.
"L&T Towing, Inc." Heat Race #3 was claimed by Red Bluff, CA driver Brian Southers in his Dietz Decalz, Torres Detailing & Polishing #80 machine. The Heat Race Win was the 6th of his career at Red Bluff.
"Fast Four Media" Heat Race #4 saw Oroville, CA veteran racer Daniel Becker pick up the win in his Grandpa George Racing Engines, Factory QRC sponsored #22s entry. Daniel leads all drivers all time at RBO in Heat Race Wins with 78 in his storied career.
"SK Construction" Heat Race #5 was claimed by Redding, CA driver Michael Call in the Pedrotti Materials, Westside Storage #89 machine. The win was the 12th of his career in Heat Race competition.
The D-Feature was won by Cottonwood, CA driver Jesse Colwell.
The "Burris Racing" C-Feature was won by Cottonwood, CA driver Tayton Parmer.
The "Shasta Realty Group" B-Feature was won by Yuba City, Ca driver Landon Brooks.
The "Main Street Deli" Trophy Dash was claimed by the #01 of Carson Sousa. The Dash win was the first of Sousa's career at Red Bluff.
The "Pacwood Superior Wood Products" A-Main Event saw Tanner Holmes earn his 13th Career Open Main Event Win at Red Bluff in his #18t entry. The win ties him with Tom Hubert for 6th All-Time in the Open Class. Holmes' teammate Landon Brooks brought his Factory QRC, Durst Inc. #60L home in the 2nd spot after winning the B-Main. Steven Gannon earned his 36th career podium finish at RBO behind the wheel of the #87 entry.
