Mitchell scores podium finish in Spooky 50 finale at Super Bee

On Friday afternoon, Jon Mitchell returned to the Super Late Model ranks for the 29th annual Spooky 50 weekend at Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.).

Earning the fifth-starting position for the preliminary feature via a fourth-place finish in his heat race, Mitchell gained two spots in the 30-lapper to register a fifth-place finish.

The following night, Jon’s fourth-place finish in his heat race positioned him on the fourth row for the $7,000-to-win Spooky 50 finale. Clawing forward four spots in the 50-lap affair, Mitchell rolled to a third-place finish. He trailed Billy Moyer Jr. and Josh Putnam to the checkers with Tanner Kellick and Bubba Mullins rounding out the Top-5.
