Weaver Makes Castrol FloRacing NiA Debut; Second in TOS Action at Boyds

Cameron made his debut with Castrol FloRacing Night in America on Tuesday night at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.).

Thirty-seven Super Late Model competitors entered the event at the 3/8-mile oval, and the 10th fastest time in his qualifying group positioned Weaver fifth on the grid for his heat race.

After sliding back to a sixth-place finish in his heat race, Cameron was relegated to a B-Main, where he claimed the third-and-final transfer spot.

Starting 22nd in the $22,022-to-win feature, Weaver retired on the 23rd circuit of the 50-lap affair. He was credited with a 20th-place finish.

Meanwhile, he returned to action on Friday night at Tennessee's Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.) with the Topless Outlaw Series Late Models. Thirty-eight entries were on hand, and after qualifying third in his time trial group, Cameron locked into the sixth-starting spot for the 40-lap main event.

He clawed his way forward to a runner-up finish in the finale behind Ronnie Johnson with Kyle Courtney, Jadon Frame, and Chase King completing the Top-5 finishers.
