Sooner Late Model Series
2022 champion Ross leads Sooner Series to Enid Speedway Saturday
John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (October 4, 2022) - Only two races remain on the 2022 Complete Well Testing Sooner Late Model Series schedule and that is good news for Hayden Ross who has officially locked up the 2022 championship.
The pressure is off, but Ross will still be racing to win when the CWT Sooner Late Model Series returns to Enid Speedway on Saturday in what is a make-up race for a rainout on September 10. The season will conclude on October 15 at Enid Speedway.
Ross won the last time the Sooner series raced at Enid Speedway on August 6. Kip Hughes, Brett Hansen and Dustin Allen also have visited the winners circle at Enid this season.
Pits open at 3 p.m. with racing getting underway at 7:30.

About Sooner Late Model Series
The Sooner Late Model Series was formed in 2016 by Enid Speedway co-promoter Mark Brill. Brill felt there was not many opportunities for late model competitors to race in Oklahoma and the Sooner Late Model Series was formed. Now the series has grown beyond the borders of Oklahoma with events held in the neighboring states of Kansas, Texas and Arkansas as well.
