Trent Ivey competes in World of Outlaws doubleheader at Boyd's

In a field of 41 World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series entries, Trent dropped three spots in his heat to finish sixth, relegating him into the B-Main for another shot at the preliminary feature. Needing to place third or better, Ivey recorded a fourth-place outing.

For the $20,000-to-win Stateline Showdown finale on Saturday, Ivey was granted a provisional into the main event after missing a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main. Starting in 24th, Trent was an early retiree form the 50-lap affair on lap 33.
