With his eighth-fastest qualifying effort locking his spot into the $5,700-to-win A-Main, Will raced to a third-place finish in the 57-lap affair. He trailed Payton Freeman and David Payne to the checkers with Shawn Chastain and Joe Denby rounding out the Top-5.
The following night, Roland invaded Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.) for the doubleheader weekend with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series. In a field of 41 cars, Will came in fifth in his heat before placing second in his B-Main. With $10,000 on the line in the preliminary feature, Roland gained one spot to finish 19th.
On Saturday, Will battled engine issues throughout the night that prevented him from qualifying for the $20,000-to-win Stateline Showdown finale.
