Pair of Top-10 finishes with LOLMDS at Brownstown

After starting the night off with a heat race victory, Pearson raced to a fourth-place finish in the 30-lap preliminary feature.
The following night took Pearson to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for doubleheader weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS). Starting the rain-delayed feature in eighth, Earl carried a steady pace in the 40-lapper to register an eighth-place finish.
Later Saturday night after he pocketed $1,995 for setting the Allstar Performance Fast Time, Earl secured his spot into the $20,000-to-win Jackson 100 with a second-place finish in his heat. Losing three positions in the 100-lap affair, Pearson crossed the line in eighth.
Earl remains in fifth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
