(Warrensburg, Missouri) The 2022 Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) ends in a big way with two separate nights of racing this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. A multitude of classes will compete throughout the two different race programs including Late Models, B-Mods, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, Midwest (E) Mods, and Lightning Sprints.
The action begins on Saturday, September 3 with the return of the Cash Money Super Dirt Series Late Models, plus $1,000-to-win B-Mods, and $500-to-win POWRi Midwest (E) Mods. Pure Stocks and POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints will also compete for their normal purse payouts.
The weekend and race season culminates on Sunday with a special $2,000-to-Win, 35-lap, B-Mod main event plus $1,000-to-Win POWRi Super Stock 25-lap feature. Pure Stocks and POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints also return for a second-consecutive night of racing for their normal payouts.
There are sponsorships available for this weekend’s special events, particularly designed with small type businesses, mom and pop stores, and local advertisers. Three tiers are available at $250, $500, and $1,000, which feature giant LED screen board advertisement, print, social media, live PA announcements, and press releases. Track Photographer Joshua Allee announced he will donate at total of $600 to the overall POWRi Midwest Mods purse on Saturday. The breakdown of Josh’s generosity is as follows: an additional $20 to the 7th through -14th place finishers and an additional $10 for the 15th through 24th place finishers. Josh will also add to the top of the payout in this manner: $100 to first place which makes the race now $600 to win! Plus, $75 to second place, $50 to third place, $45 to fourth place, $40 to fifth place and $30 to sixth place. In addition, an additional $5 per spot has been added for positions 7th - 14th, courtesy of Show-Me-Synthetics, Robbie Skipper.
Allee also announced he will add $75 to the winner of the Pure Stock feature each night, for an additional $150 contribution; with this addition, the payout for the winner of the Pure Stock main event each night climbs to $400.
Saturday, September 3rd details: Cash Money Super Dirt Series Late Models, plus $1,000-to-win B-Mods, $500-to-win Midwest Mods track special, plus regular payouts for POWRi Lightning Sprints and Pure Stocks. Special event admission in effect: $20 Adults, $15 Active Military with I.D., and Senior Citizens ages 65 to 74, $6 Kids Ages 6 to 12, Kids 5 and Under Free, Seniors 75 and up and those Permanently Confined to Wheelchair free.
All pit passes are $40, regardless of age. There are no driver entry fees (other than $40 pit pass) or track registrations for Late Models, Pure Stocks, Super Stocks, or B-Mods.
POWRi Midwest Mods drivers have an entry fee as follows:
-$50 entry fee for TRACK-REGISTERED driver, includes driver pit pass
-$60 entry fee for NON-TRACK-REGISTERED driver, includes driver pit pass
-$25 fail to make the B-main (tow money)
-$35 ran B-Main but did not transfer to A-Main
Sunday, September 4th details: $2,000-to-win B-Mods, $1,000-to-win POWRi Super Stocks, plus regular payouts for POWRi Lightning Sprints and Pure Stocks. Special event admission in effect: $20 Adults, $15 Active Military with I.D., and Senior Citizens ages 65 to 74, $6 Kids Ages 6 to 12, Kids 5 and Under Free, Seniors 75 and up and those Permanently Confined to Wheelchair free. All pit passes are $40, regardless of age. There are no entry fees (other than $40 pit pass) or track registration for Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, or Lightning Sprint drivers. B-Mods have an entry fee as described here: $75 per driver, covers pit pass and entry fee.
Throughout the weekend, the pit area will be cleared at 4 pm with the pit window opening at 4:30, grandstand admissions begin at 5, followed by the driver pill draw cutoff at 6:15 (late drivers will not earn passing points), pit meeting will take place at 6:30, followed by practice hot laps at 7, and racing to follow. Primitive camping is permitted and welcome on the grounds at CMS but what is hauled onto the grounds, must be hauled off the grounds. Campers should check in with the pit office to ensure proper placement of tents or campers.
Pub 13, located on the front side of the speedway, will remain open daily throughout the weekend beginning daily at 11:30 a.m. on through the night until last call at 1 a.m. on race nights Saturday and Sunday. The pub kitchen will remain open late after the races with appetizers and chicken strips available until midnight.
