Junghans visits Deer Creek for Gopher 50 weekend

Following the eighth-fastest lap in his time trial group, Chase secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win prelim with a third-place finish in his heat. Rolling off on the sixth row, Junghans slipped back to a 22nd-place finish in the 25-lapper.

On Friday, Junghans missed a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main, ending his night early.

Starting in seventh in his consolation on Saturday evening for one last shot at the $50,000-to-win Gopher 50, Chase fell three spots short of a transfer position with a sixth-place outing.
