CAN-AM SPEEDWAY FEATURES FULL SLATE OF RACING ACTION FRIDAY NIGHT
TUESDAY AUG 9, 2022
LA FARGEVILLE, NY – They’re all back in town! Six classes of race cars will hit the track Friday night, including the FABCO DIRTcar Pro Stocks, as they wind down their season at Can-Am Speedway.
The Whitesboro Plow Shop DIRTcar 358 Modifieds will showcase the night of racing, as Tim Fuller inches closer and closer to securing his second track championship in as many years. With just a few races remaining, second place Ryan Bartlett still has a chance at an upset. One thing is guaranteed, the 358 Mods will be putting on a show!
Also on the docket for the night is the Bob Johnson Auto Group DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, where there are four contenders who could all have a viable chance at taking home the championship for 2022. Tyler Corcoran of Central Square, NY is the current points leader, but Mike Fowler of Fulton, NY and David Rogers and Gavin Eisele, both of Lafargeville, NY, are all well within striking distance of the points lead. One great night or one bad night could spell the difference in the Sportsman Mod class. You cannot miss a single race in this white-hot division of racing!
As mentioned, the FABCO DIRTcar Pro Stocks will be racing Friday night, with Bruno Richard leading the points chase. Eli Gilbert, Tyler Bushey and Kevin Fetterly Jr. could all have a shot at displacing Richard for the top spot by the end of the season.
Josh Verne Jr. and Logan Crisafulli continue to battle atop the Panther Frameworx 602 Crate Sprint Car class, and Friday night could be the make-or-break night for either driver.
Joe Orvis is wrapping up a great season in the Marsha Gibbons TLC Real Estate ThunderCar class, but if last week is any indicator, the ThunderCar class can have the most fireworks week in and week out and are not to be missed!
In the Donath Motor Worx Limited Sportsman class, who will come out on top this week after Joe Trichilo captured his first win last week.
