Troutman follows World of Outlaws to Cedar Lake for USA Nationals

Drawing 46 Late Models for the $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Drake was a scratch from his consolation event after failing to record a lap in time trials due to issues with his rear axle.
For a pair of heat races on Friday afternoon, Troutman placed eighth in the first round but failed to make it out for his second heat. Earning a spot into the $3,000-to-win FANS Fund Dash, Drake slipped back to an 11th-place finish.
Slated to start deep in his field in his B-Main on Saturday for one last shot at the $50,000-to-win USA Nationals finale, Drake was a scratch to save equipment.
