Johnny Scott attends Bristol Dirt Nationals

On Friday evening, Johnny Scott returned to the driver’s seat of the Rancho Milagro Racing No. 1ST Late Model at Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tenn.) for the second annual Bristol Dirt Nationals. With 37 XR Super Series entries on hand for the tour’s season opener, Johnny’s ninth-to-sixth run in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. For another $50,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Scott followed up the 13th-fastest time in his group with a fifth-place finish in his heat. Transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Johnny was an early exit from the 10-lapper.
