Shipley snags a pair of Top-10 finishes with DIRTcar Summer Nationals
On Friday afternoon, Colin Shipley returned with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Tri-City Motor Speedway (Auburn, Mich.) to compete in the final two rounds of the Hell Tour. (Terry Page photos)
Following a fourth-to-third showing in his heat race, Shipley gained one spot in the 40-lap feature to register a 10th-place finish.
For another $10,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday afternoon at Merritt Speedway (Merritt, Mich.), Colin’s third-place finish in his heat positioned him on the sixth row for the feature. Breaking into the Top-10, Shipley clawed forward two spots to finish 10th.
