Shane McDowell Racing attends Silver Dollar Nationals weekend

With a stout field of 60 Late Models on the grounds for the Dirt Track Bank Go 50, Dale followed up a fifth-place finish in his heat with a third-place finish in his B-Main, missing a transfer spot by one position.
On Friday afternoon for two rounds of heat races, McDowell jumped up four spots in his first round finish seventh. Coming in second in his second heat, Dale earned the 16th-starting position for the $53,0000-to-win Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals.
With Mother Nature postponing the finale to Sunday, Dale was an early retiree from the 80-lap affair on lap 48.
