Setser Double Dips at U.S. 24 Speedway

A steamy Saturday night took Gunnar Setser to U.S. 24 Speedway (Logansport, Ind.), where he competed in both the Main Street Baker Non-Wing A Class and the CSI Non Winged ranks.

Non-Wing A class competition found Gunnar setting fast time in his qualifying group, and he then backed that up with a heat race win from the fourth-starting spot.

He started fifth in the main event, and advanced to a runner-up finish behind Caleb Shietze with Greyson Springer, Austin Helm, and Carter Whaley completing the Top 5.

Meanwhile in the CSI Non Winged ranks, Setser again set fast time in his group. He passed two competitors in his heat race to finish second.

Starting on the pole for the main event, he was unable to capitalize on the opportunity as he slid back to a seventh-place finish.
