McKay Wengers sweeps Bob Harty Memorial at FALS, collects $3,500

With Mother Mature postponing Friday’s DIRTcar Summer Nationals event at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) to July 15th, McKay Wenger made his lone start of the weekend on Saturday afternoon at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) for the Bob Harty Memorial.

Pulling off a clean sweep of the program, Wenger set the quick time in qualifying, won his heat, and recorded a flag-to-flag victory in the feature to secure his third win of the season. He captured a $3,500 payday ahead of Mike Spatola, Jake Little, Nick Allen, and Ryan Unzicker.

He will return to action on Monday and Tuesday with a visit to Stuart International Speedway (Stuart, Iowa) to compete with the XR Super Series for the Fever Heat 100.
